Heading to France
by Webmaster on Jun.10, 2009, under News
We are all looking forward to our annual band trip to France next week. After the rigours of recording our first album, we are all looking forward to a week of R&R (rehearsing and recreation!) when we can tidy up some of our more ropey numbers and learn some new stuff. It’s always good to add new numbers to the set to keep things fresh. We are also going to start writing our own material. No doubt the superb French wine will keep our creative juices flowing. That and the odd game of midnight boules!
At the end of the week we are playing a gig at Cafe De La Palisse, a local pub on the outskirts of Le Cheylard. We played there this time last year and we must have been good as we were asked to come back.

Hi Alan,
Mary nee Swincer from IS Manila days. Alison Noble directed me to this site and I’ve just had a listen to a few songs. Loved Sultans of Swing. You voice is unmistakable – hasn’t changed an iota.
I’m in Brisbane these days with my 2 daughters ages 8 and 5.
Hope you’re doing well.
Mary

Alan!
Oooiiss! Hey! Nice work there my friend! I finally got around to checking out the site and listening to the posted tunes. Nice to see you covering The Jam – one of my all-time fave-raves! I imagine you guys do a mean “That’s Entertainment” and “Eton Rifles”
Hope all’s well! Keep in touch.
Cheers,
Jason
